 Ian Hunter

Whenever I draw what I’ve seen or experienced, I fail. In the process I experience something entirely different. I find it most edifying when whatever I make is personally relevant, shows problems I see in "civilization", or has mystical vibe. Often times I just push colors next to one another, making a piece that doesn’t have any relevance to the universe but is instead an abstract mixture which only leaves an initial impression without a narrative.

Styles/people I'm feebly imitating are: Shohei Otomo, Meshuggah, Tipper, Android Jones, Flying Lotus, Akira Beard, Januz Miralles, Silvia Grav, Rogan Brown, Hobo with a Shotgun, Aztec art, Shelby Robins, Kris Jarldane, Madelyn Packard, Frida Kahlo, and Tibetan Thangkas.
