Annie Chen began her art journey in her home town, Taipei, before she moved to Boston. She started with traditional art mediums like graphite and acrylic paint, and moved on to find her passion in watercolor involving abstract styles. She discovered her interest in analog photography the day she found her grandma’s film camera in the basement of her family's house. This new interest complimented her love for traveling, especially in South East Asia. With analog photography, Annie seeks to capture parts of the world and people who are often overlooked.
